Orlando Bellydance Convention is delighted to deliver the very best of Master Instructors from around the World.

The event organizers take pride in seeking out the Experts in Showcasing their Professional Skills and Talent in the Art of Bellydance, Oriental Dance and Tribal Dance in both Traditional and Fusion Styles.

Dancers will have the opportunity to learn, perform, compete, watch and/or shop at the convention. And more importantly, inspire and be inspired.

FUSION DRUM SOLO

2-HOUR WORKSHOP

Thursday August 10 12~2 pm

Fusion Drum Solo offers a unique take on percussion and rhythm. In this innovative class you will learn to play music through your muscles using signature locks, breaks, fluid arms, unusual shapes and combinations as well as Moria's Muscular Belly Dance Technique (MBDT) for layering, traveling, and transitioning.

This exciting and fun workshop culminates in a Fusion Drum Solo Choreography.

LIQUID LAYERING

2-HOUR WORKSHOP

Friday August 11 1~3 pm

Liquid Layering uses multiple fusion combinations to focus on steady and smooth transition techniques for complete body fluidity. Dancers will learn the power of slow and strong movements moving smoothly and slowly through a variety of innovative shapes and poses.

Dancing slowly has its own principles and ideology, which emphasizes extended muscle contraction and flexibility to create big, sensuous combinations poured through the limbs with an intensity of flow.

As we focus on the muscles between the muscles and using a variety of layered combinations to execute elegant level changes and liquid articulation.

INDIAN FUSION BELLYDANCE CHOREOGRAPHY

INDIAN FUSION BELLYDANCE CHOREOGRAPHY

In this unique choreography dancers will learn the body isolations, temple stance, classical Indian dance posture, sacred geometry, and mudras inspired from ancient devotional dance and how these profound elements can be applied to modern music and movement.

By including ancient statue positions, muscular belly dance technique, and Moria's signature approach to fusion, you will learn a potent choreography telling the story of the beginning of time via the esoteric shapes that have traveled from gurus to students for millennium.
